Alley Cats Games Played & Rules

In a effort to help everyone understand the games we play and the rules for each game. Below is a list of the game. If you have any questions about the game then please ask a Host prior to game play.

 

1v1 SWISS - Single player game 1 - 1 play each other for all rounds. High score wins.

1v1 DE - 1v1 double elimination - 1 - 1 play each other. high score wins.  If you have 2 losses you are eliminated  from the game.

2v2 SWISS PYOP -  2 teams vs 2 teams each team plays all rounds. the team totals are combined for a final team score.  High score wins.

2v2  DE PYOP - 2 teams vs 2 teams play each other. the team totals are combined for a final team score. High score wins. If you lose twice  you are eliminated  from the game.

2v2 RANDOM PARTNERS - Teams are generated randomly in teams of 2 and you play the other teams for all rounds. the team totals are combined for a final score. high score wins.

2v2 RANDOM PARTNERS DE - Teams are generated randomly in teams of 2. the team totals are combined for a final team score. High score wins. if you have two loses you are eliminated from the game.

3v3 PYOP SWISS -  3 teams vs 3 teams each team plays all rounds. The team totals are combined for a final team score high score wins.

3v3 PYOP DE- 3 teams vs 3 teams play each other. The team totals are combined for a final team score. High score wins. If you lose twice  you are eliminated  from the game.

1v1 1 BALL- the object of this game is to get as many strikes in a game. A player only can play one ball the second ball goes into the gutter. If you mark or spare on your second ball then you disqualified for that round. 10 frame is free you can bowl anything, strike, spares.  High Score wins.

1v1 1 BALL OLD SCHOOL - The object of this game is to get as many strikes in a game. A player only can play one ball the second ball goes into the gutter. If you mark or spare on your second ball then you disqualified for that round. If you strike in the first frame of the 10 frame you can continue if you do not strike you need to stop and report your score.  High score wins.

1V1 6 PACK - The object of the game is for each player to be the first to get 6 strikes making a six pack.  You mark your x's in the chat and when you have achieved 6 strikes you say 6 pack and what frame you got your 6 pack in. eg.  6 pack/ 8th frame.

HIGHJUMP 2V2 TEAMS TRUE SWISS - The object of the game is we start off at a base score of 400. for every round the base score will go up 20 pins. This is a true swiss game meaning the game can last up to 9 rounds. Your team plays another team each round. Team totals are calculated as long as you stay within the base score even if you lost the round you are still in the game.  The team that stays within  the base score and is that last team standing wins. If each team does not make score then high score wins.

HIGHJUMP 1V1 TRUE SWISS - The object of the game is we start off at a base score of 200. For every round the base score will go up 10 pins. This is a true swiss game meaning the game can last up to 9 rounds. Each round you post your score. If you stay within the base score posted even if you lost the round you are still in the game.  The player that stays within the base score and is that last player standing wins. If each player does not make score then high score wins.

ALL SPARES 1V1 SWISS - The object of this game is to get as many spares as you can. you mark your spares in chat.  If you strike it does not count against you. the most spares within the games wins. If there is a tie high score wins.

ADD EM UP 1V1 SWISS - The object of the game is to add your up. So an example would be if you bowled 254 then you add 2+5+4 total 11. The player with the highest total wins. You can not throw a gutter ball at the 10 frame to increase your score, if you do the other person will automatically win.

REVERSE SCORE TOUR  -  The object of the game is to get the highest score but you will reverse your score at the end. Example a player bowls 259  your score now becomes 952 for your final total. Players are not allowed to purposely gutter in the 10th frame to make your score better. If a player gutters in the 10th frame on purpose they will be disqualified for that round and the other player will automatically win the round.
